Project Coordinator
Who: A person that has showcased strong attention to detail when supporting coworkers. Demonstrated project management skills, excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite at minimum, with experience in multiple computer programs being an asset. Proven time management and organization skills. Strong research capabilities. The person best suited for this position enjoys a fast paced, challenging work environment that involves multi-tasking and coordinating multiple aspects of a project at the same time.
What: Work under a Project Manager as part of the Project Team. Assist the Project Team in ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget. Duties can vary greatly dependent upon the requirements of the project and Project Management Team. Responsibilities extend to coordinating and attending meetings between internal and external parties.
Where: Various locations in the Ottawa Valley and Eastern Ontario. Could potentially work from a site trailer at project location, or from the main office in Renfrew.
When: During construction season (April/May to November/December), with the possibility of extension dependent upon project contract. Project Coordinators maintain a work week schedule that closely reflects on-site staff.
Why: To support the Project Management Team communication within the Team and communicate externally with the Contract Project Team to help develop a timeline, create schedules and oversee progress goals utilizing spreadsheets and maintaining administrative duties pertaining to the project.
